1. How do I find out about available flights?

A. Go to the flight scheduler tool on this web site. If you require further information before booking call your local branch.

2. Can I send animals?

A. Air Freight NZ Cargo cannot send Animals at this time.  Please call Air NZ 0800 737 737

3. Can I send dangerous goods?

A. Certain DG’s can be sent via Air NZ and AFNZC. Dry Ice can be sent via Qantas. Please call your local branch for a quote

4. Can I send perishable goods?

AFNZC have chillers in AKL and CHC for storage of perishable goods prior to pick up. Call your local branch to find out the process.

5. What can’t I send air freight?

A. There are certain types of goods that can not fly, but on the whole unless there is a dangerous element concerning an item (e.g. ammunition) most goods can fly.

6. Can I get a complete door to door service?

A. Yes, AFNZC can arrange a complete end to end service for you, all you need do is complete the booking screen from the Flight scheduler tool. Once you book it with us we will contact you to confirm your details and verify the service you want.

7. How do I set up an account with AFNZC?

A. You can download the form on the front page of the web site and either e-mail to: tai.taepa@airfreightnz.co.nz or fax back to 09 525 6273

8. How soon do I need to have my freight at AFNZC before my flight leaves?

A. The usual lead time is 1 hour before flight departure, but if it’s going to be tight call call your local branch for further information.

9. What happens if my flight is delayed or cancelled?

A. AFNZC will contact you to seek instruction on other arrangements, like the next flight out or an over night flight 

10. How do I know where to take my goods in AKL, WLG and CHC, or any other airport for that matter?

A. Check out the “Contact Us” section for the main airports and if you want further information on regional airports call Tai Taepa 027 242 9067. 

11. What documents do I need to send my goods?

A. You will need either an AFNZC con note or an Air NZ con note. Call your local branch and we will tell you where to get a con note and how to use it.
